Wing Chun and Ving Tsun (and occasionally Wing Tsun) are romanizations of the traditional Chinese words 詠春 (spring chant), from which this martial art derives its name. Both versions are in common use, but Ving Tsun is the preferred spelling of the late sifu Wong Shun Leung.
Wing Chun and Ving Tsun are used interchangeably on this web site.
